When editing in After Effects and using quantised music as a soundtrack it can be convenient to have markers following the beatgrid of the music.
Use this tool to generate markerdata based on the bpm of your track, and the amount of bars you're using.
- Enter the BPM of your track
- And the number of bars your using
- Framerate is not necessary for the marker-data file, but is used for the timelines below
- Click 'Set' to update the timelines. Click 'Export' to generate the markerdata
- You can import the marker-data using this script

The command 'import-audio-markers' is available in AE under 'File' > 'Scripts'
